Tubal-cain

Tubal-cain was the son of Lamech, a descendant of Adam's son Cain, and noted as an "artificer in brass and iron." Masonic tradition makes him the founder of smith-craft," and Josephus tells us that "he exceeded all men in strength," and was renowned for his war-like achievements.
