Insignia

A plural term for all types of portable (worn) awards or distinctions. Insignia is the broadest category of phaleristic items and includes badges, collars, habits, medals, sashes, ribbons, [wikipedia:fourragères fourragères], Ärmelbands, and Armschilds. The singular term is insigne.
