Ezra - Help; or The Helper

The book of Ezra gives an account of the return of the Jews from their captivity in Babylon and the rebuilding of their ruined temple. This work was carried out with difficulty because of the enmity of some of their neighbours and the lack of a spiritual religion among many of the Jews.
