Demolay, Order of

Founded March 24th, 1919, at Kansas City Missouri, where the International DeMolay Headquarters are maintained. Its founder was Frank S. Land, whose purpose was to promote and maintain a social and fraternal club for boys between the ages of 12 and 21 years of age. The order became popular from its beginning, and in a few years became International in scope.
