Book of Seven Seals

The seal denotes that which is secret; seven denotes that which is perfect. Hence the Book sealed with seven seals denoted knowledge perfectly secreted from the profane, and secure from all unhallowed search. It is with this symbolism that the Book of the Seven Seals is adopted in one of the high degrees of the Knight of the East and West. The book sealed with seven seals… ( Revelation 5:1 )
